This Warranty Policy explains the protections that apply to products purchased from Lisu Thai. It covers your statutory warranty rights as a consumer, the additional manufacturer warranty offered on certain products, and the steps to take if you believe an item you purchased is defective. This policy applies to all orders placed through our store and is provided in addition to, and does not limit, any other rights you may have under applicable law.

Statutory Warranty

All goods sold by Lisu Thai are covered by the statutory warranty for defects that applies under consumer protection law. This means that if an item you receive is faulty — for example, if it does not match its description, is damaged, or otherwise fails to work as it should — you are entitled to a remedy.

Your remedies

Depending on the nature of the defect and what the law allows, your remedy may include:

  • Repair of the faulty item
  • Replacement with an equivalent item
  • A price reduction, where repair or replacement is not possible or appropriate
  • A refund, where the law allows

The statutory warranty exists independently of any manufacturer warranty and is not affected by it.

Manufacturer Warranty

Where a product carries an additional manufacturer warranty, that warranty applies for 2 years from the date of purchase. This manufacturer warranty is provided on top of, and does not replace or reduce, your statutory warranty rights described above. If a covered product develops a fault within this 2-year period, please contact us using the details below so we can assist you.

Reporting a Fault

If you believe a product you purchased is defective, please get in touch with us as soon as possible so we can help resolve the issue. To report a fault:

  1. Contact us by email at contact@lisuthai.shop.
  2. Describe the fault as precisely as possible, including when it appeared and how it affects the product.
  3. Include your order number so we can quickly locate your purchase.
  4. Where possible, attach photos of the fault to help us assess the issue.

Once we receive your report, we'll review the details and get back to you promptly to sort it out.
